ToMove project

Next G Cloud (www.nextgcloud.com) is pleased to announce that it has won the call for proposals issued by the City of Turin, Project ToMove – Call4Testing ToMove4Future.
The project, called Edge data 4 Safety (E4S) and carried out in collaboration with Quandopasso Connected Mobility (www.quandopasso.com), involves testing innovative Smart Mobility solutions and field trials with the direct involvement of real users.

Next G Cloud‘s cloud infrastructure will provide a secure and interoperable environment, with the ability to expose services to third-party applications. The Quandopasso mobile app will also provide geolocated information that will be used to implement the project’s use cases. The entire E4S team will be supported in its business decisions by an Advisory Board composed of INWIT S.p.A., NTT DATA, TIM Enterprise, Iveco Group. Other industry partners may join at a later date.
The pilot program is scheduled to begin in November 2025, with the full support of the municipal government and in line with the local community’s goals of innovation and participation.

The ToMove Living Lab is an initiative of the City of Turin – funded by the Department for Digital Transformation under the National Complementary Plan to the PNRR – that involves businesses, research institutions and citizens in the co-experimentation of smart, sustainable and inclusive solutions for urban mobility.
